Musical Pedophilia

There is a hidden idea of  sex with young girls  within our culture. Like most of our philosophy, it is hidden within cultural pillars. It wears a cloak of invisibility making it hard to point out, yet it is so present it is impossible to ignore. In Obour’s hit song ‘Konkotibaa’ the idea was at its clearest… almost losing its cloak of invisibility. He clearly stated in the song that he was interested in an underage girl and he is not ashamed of it. Ha… so perhaps it is not so normal then. Scary as it may sound, Obour won more awards with that song and album than with any other of his works. Why is that? Is it because we support the idea of having sexual intercourse with underage girls? You might say no; but I will let Obour go and look into the older generation.  The almighty Amakye Dede did something about Akwadaa Wesoa (a very very or should I say extremely young girl) and how fascinated (for want of a milder term) he was by her body.
